All puns aside, I believe I am qualified to serve on City Council for the following reasons:

• Have lived in Poway for 12 years
• Worked for City of Poway for nine years (1990-1999)
• Worked in Community Recreation for 16 years
• Acquired BS in Recreation from SDSU in 1990
• Supervised a staff of 16 people
• Managed a division budget of half a million dollars
• Supervised the Poway Teen Club
• Trained the first two Volunteer Reserve Ranger classes
• Supervised recreation programs like the Youth Track Meet, Lake Poway Day Camp, Youth Day and Candyland
• Bring a common sense approach to solving problems
• Have many years of experience working with the public
